Professor César Real has a PhD in Advanced Manufacturing at CIATEQ, Centro de Tecnología Avanzado, with the research project "Development of a Robotic Manipulator of 6 Degrees of Freedom with Cycloidal Transmissions", a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Celaya and a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Occidente (ITESO).
César Real has been a professor at ITESO since 2000, as partial time professor and since 2005 as a full time professor, the subjects in which he has collaborated are: design of machine elements, deformable solids I and II, vibrations, mechanical drawing, GD&T, pressure vessel design, heat transfer, materials science, design and manufacture I and II , design and manufacturing projects, professional application projects. Administrative commissions highlight the coordination of the Mechanical Engineering program in two different times, 2005-2012 and 2014-2015, as well as its collaboration in the design and development of laboratories and mechanical engineering workshops.
His main interests are in the design, analysis and manufacture of mechanical components and systems, creating solutions and teaching equipment for the university's laboratories, addressing industry problems in projects that generate technology, resources and intellectual property, as well as including state-of-the-art manufacturing processes for the materialization of functional prototypes within a formal engineering process.
